Empathy as a Way of Being is a women's retreat designed to facilitate deep growth and transformation. Using the principles of Nonviolent Communication, meditation, and the work of Eckhart Tolle and Pema Chodron, we will dive into the following topics: Healing and Forgiveness, Mourning, Empathy, Self-Empathy and Honest Expression.

We will practice deep, nonjudgmental listening and build self-empowerment from the inside-out, as we immerse ourselves in a compassionate community learning together how to speak from the heart. These international trainings are one of Marshall Rosenberg's signature programs and they are offered throughout the world.

Be a Rebel: Speak Peace - An NVC Practice Group
Join us in this practice group if you want to HONE your ability to hear what others are trying to express through their words or behaviors; greater UNDERSTANDING and HEALING of your emotional triggers; to TRUST your ability to express yourself with clarity, compassion and effectiveness; SUPPORT in working through your relationship dilemmas; and FUN as we all grapple with and support each other in our humanness.
Using role plays and other dynamic learning modalities, we will practice the NVC process with real-life situations that participants bring to the group. Attendence to all sessions is NOT required; please join us as your schedule permits!
